Sumeru & Seed was founded with a simple belief: history deserves to be held, not just read.

Across more than three thousand two hundred years, human civilization has risen and fallen through empires, wars, ideas, and individuals who shaped the world. Imperium Cards turns these moments into a tangible card universe, combining historical research, strategic design, and collectible craftsmanship.

This is not a traditional trading card game. Each card represents a fragment of history, grounded in real events, real people, and real civilizations. From battlefield formations and military doctrine to political power and cultural exchange, every detail is designed with respect for historical context.

We are a small group of creators from different disciplines. Historians, archaeologists, antique appraisers, designers, engineers, artists, and lifelong strategy game players, we are brought together by a shared respect for history and systems of thought. Each of us approaches the past from a different angle, whether through research, structure, visual language, or gameplay logic.

What unites us is a common belief: history should be understood as a connected system, not reduced to isolated facts or simplified myths. That belief shapes every decision behind Imperium Cards and its continuing series, Imperion Cards, are built as a long-term historical universe.
